Irene Piasecki 88, died Monday, July 03, 2006 at Shadowmoss Plantation. Native and longtime resident of Chicago, Illinois having lived in Savannah since 1983. She was a communicant of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Mrs. Piasecki was a Eucharistic minister and taught CCD. She was a WWII veteran serving in the United States Navy.
Mrs. Piasecki was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Piasecki.
Surviving are, her daughter and son in law, Judeanne and Jerry Clark of Savannah, her son Father Tim Piasecki of Aurora, Illinois, grandchildren and spouses, Shelia and Sam Crossley of Savannah, Matthew and Laura Clark of Canton, Georgia and six great grandchildren, Thomas, Henry, Jessica, Charles, Tyler and Rachel.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5, 2006 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 11 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
Remembrances to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Shadowmoss Plantation or Odyssey Health Care.
